I lean right. I believe that government roles should be limited to the greatest degree possible. I believe that the private sector does business more efficiently than government. Don’t believe me; look at how long it takes to fire a federal employee. I believe that the welfare system keeps the recipient from achieving success and robs them of their dignity. Voting while enrolled in the welfare system seems to be a conflict of interest. If a person cannot take care of themselves, how can they take care of their country? Unfortunately sometimes tough love is the best love and is not easily administered. I believe class warfare is used by the left to pit the haves-nots against the haves. This strategy seems to be in essence a divide and conquer method. Once the haves have been narrowed, they will easily conquer the have-nots even further. I believe that education should not be entrusted to the government. More and more money is allotted to education each year with an abysmal result. I believe that the current system overwhelmingly disenfranchises lower income citizens; public school are their only option. The public schools should be forced to compete with private schools through voucher type programs. I believe the government should not decide the value of an individual’s employment, but rather the employer. How in the world does the government realize and assign the employee’s value in a private business. The employee is not forced to work for the employer and most minimum wage jobs are part-time. I believe that elected officials, like any leader should be held to the highest degree of standards. I believe that ones longest career ought not to be politics and that there should be term limits set for congress. I believe that all Americans (except convicted felons) have the right to keep and bear arms and that it is not negotiable. I believe the most effective and sustainable peace is achieved through strength. I believe a law is not a law if it is not enforced. I believe that America was made great by generations of immigrants, but think immigrants should come legally. Most of all I believe in my country and the American Dream, but I know that the government cannot make dreams come true.
